Article 465 of the Criminal Code

1. El que, interviniendo en un proceso como abogado o procurador, con abuso de su función, destruyere, inutilizare u ocultare documentos o actuaciones de los que haya recibido traslado en aquella calidad, será castigado con la pena de prisión de seis meses a dos años, multa de siete a doce meses e inhabilitación especial para su profesión, empleo o cargo público de tres a seis años. 2. Si los hechos descritos en el apartado primero de este artículo fueran realizados por un particular, la pena será de multa de tres a seis meses.
