The Alcalá de Henares judicial district (criminal seat at Plaza de la Paloma 1; the First Instance Courts at calle Colegios 4-6, 28801 Alcalá de Henares) covers Alcalá de Henares, Meco, Camarma de Esteruelas, Villalbilla, Corpa, Los Santos de la Humosa, Anchuelo, Valverde de Alcalá, Pezuela de las Torres, Santorcaz and Valdeavero in the Henares Corridor. It has a First Instance Section, an Investigation Section, a Criminal Section, a Violence against Women Section of the Court of Instance and a Prison Supervision Section of the Court of Instance, the last-named competent for inmates of the Madrid II Penitentiary Center (Alcalá-Meco).
